Mozart Operas
Mozart scenes offer a unique bridge between vocal technique and dramatic performance. His music demands clarity, flexibility, elegance, rhythmic precision, and a deep understanding of character and ensemble.
Singers will be cast to perform scenes and arias, according to their voice, from the repertoire of W.A. Mozart's vast choice of operas.
Scenes and Arias will be staged and performed for the public, with piano accompaniment.
Lieder
Studying Lieder provides an essential foundation for any serious singer. The intimate relationship between voice and piano requires exceptional attention to text, phrasing, color, diction, rhythm, and musical detail.
Each singers is expected to bring a minimum of 4 Lieder to work on in the studio with their voice teacher and their coach.
A program will be established with a selection of the Lieder, to be performed during the program.
